The re-enactment of the TARDIS trying to land in the water in Logopolis was redone so the TARDIS actual flew into it rather than landing on a boat.  Here is the link of how it happened.

In the last pic of their slideshow, it shows the TARDIS in pieces, so it may survive for a rebuilding if they choose to.
